Are you interested in improving the energy efficiency of your home, but not sure where to start? The Norwich for Warm Homes campaign is hosting a free event looking at why and how to retrofit your home.

Most of Norwich's housing was built a very long time ago and needs upgrading ('retrofitting') for modern energy use. Insulation, heat pumps and other energy efficiency measures can bring down bills, improve comfort and help cut our use of gas and other fossil fuels.

Architectural technologist Simeon Jackson will talk us through why retrofitting is so important, where to start, and the details you need to think about, like materials and ventilation.

Light refreshments will be provided.

Please note: everyone is welcome, but this talk is primarily aimed at people with the ability to make changes to the fabric of their homes (homeowners and landlords).

Norwich for Warm Homes is a joint campaign by Green New Deal Norwich and Norwich Friends of the Earth.
