Build your skills and lay the foundation of your success with our bricklaying courses.

This course aims to provide you with a basic introduction to Bricklaying as a Construction trade area. You will spend most of your time in a workshop environment exploring and using a range of tools and equipment to develop your knowledge and basic hand skills in preparation for practical tasks. Throughout the course you will complete a range of practical activities to prepare you for your next steps, further study, or employment.

Practical Tasks include:

* Jointing and gauging
* Laying bricks to line
* Stretcher bond pyramid

During and on completion of practical tasks you will be provided with feedback from your tutor in order to identify strengths and areas for development. All tasks will be designed and carried out in line with industry expectations and practices.
