Carpentry and Joinery is an exciting and varied trade. Why not start your journey on this course?

During this course you will learn the basic principles of Carpentry and Joinery as a construction trade area. You will spend most of your time in a workshop environment exploring and using a range of tools and equipment to develop your knowledge and basic hand skills in preparation for practical tasks. Throughout the course you will complete a range of practical activities to prepare you for next steps, further study or employment.

Practical tasks include:

Basic Woodworking Joints (half lap, Tee halving, Mitre and Mortice and Tenon)
Miniature Sawhorse
