Gamerados is an evening where folk can meet up and enjoy the world of boardgames (outside of the traditional stuff like Monopoly) with each other without the pressure of needing to feel like you need to know how to play games. It’s about being alongside others, meeting people where they are at, playing a game, having a cup of tea a chat and where its also ok to be a bit pants.

Gamerados is inspired by and embeds the ethos of Camerados. Camerados is a global movement that believes the solution to getting through tough times is each other. When we look out for each other we get two things that make life worth living Friends and Purpose. The 6 Camerados principles fit really nicely with the space Gamerados is creating.
1. Its ok to fail – we are all a bit rubbish sometimes
2. Mix with folk who don’t look like you
3. If we disagree level with each other respectfully
4. Don’t try to fix people, just be alongside them
5. If someone is struggling try ask them to help you
6. Have fun, being silly make us human
