Norfolk Clubhouse is a social enterprise founded in 2019 to promote positive mental health for those 18 years and upwards, providing opportunities for social connection and sharing as a Community. We offer opportunities for growth to access training, education and employment as well as being Members of a Community. Membership is free and for life. Membership is voluntary and there is no expectation that you achieve any outcomes driven by anyone who funds us. We are Member led, by Members for Members. Our values are based upon the International Clubhouse Model of mental health which views each person as the expert in their life and as such has a right to self-determination. We seek to support each persons strengths an creativity and be shoulder to shoulder with you to live a life you want to live, not one imposed from above.
Please check out our website and if you want to become a Member after having an informal chat, please do contact us or if you have someone you want to ask to refer you, please give them the link to our website. You don't need any formal diagnosis to become a Member, just a willingness to be involved in our Community which is open to anyone with unmet mental health needs.
We have an 8 week online course, "Growing Together" for new Members which is free. We meet on Zoom for this to discuss our ideas but the course may be accessed via our website prior to the Zoom meetings.
We currently have a Midweek Meet-Up on Wednesdays at 12 noon and a Women's Group on Saturday at 12.15pm and a Saturday Social at 1.30pm. We are mainly online during the Pandemic but will meet up as and when safe to do so. We aim to set up Hubs throughout Norfolk depending upon demand in the areas our Members live.
As we are online, we don't yet have a fixed location. We have a PO Box to send completed applications please to :-
