MXConnects - Community Fun Day for Mile Cross residents
Organisation's across Mile Cross bring you MXConnects! An afternoon celebrating reconnecting with friends and neighbours with fun, free activities.
We start by introducing the very first Galley Hill Dash!
Dress up, watch, take part, just come and join in the fun - everyone is welcome.
Gather at 10:30 - the first race is at 11am.
The Dash is made up of four fun races:
• The Dash! – As runners race 4x up the Hill. Places are limited and require pre - registration
• Slow Bike Race: adult’s and children’s races - last one over the finish line without putting a foot down wins. Put your foot down get a penalty!
• Everyone up the Hill! Fancy-dress is optional, you don't have to, but you may get a head start...
12 - 3pm Use our trail map and discover all the free activities taking place at:
- The Phoenix Centre
- Rosie's Plaques
- St Catherine's Church & Hall
- The Common Plot
- Aylsham Road Mosque
- The King's Venue
- The Norman Centre
- Mile Cross Library
2pm: Mile Cross Heritage Walk (45mins): A walk back in time with Colin Howey and our very own Stuart McPherson aka The Mile Cross Man. Meet at the top of Galley Hill.
