FoodCycle Norwich cook and collect (takeaway meal service).

Foodcycle supports people who are either struggling to afford the basics to eat or eating alone without company or conversation, by serving tasty meals.

With Covid, over the past few months, they’ve had to change the way they support people.  Volunteers who have been recently delivering food parcels, are now providing a cook and collect takeaway service.

Every Friday, between 7pm and 8pm, anyone can collect a delicious meal and bag of surplus food (depending on supplies) from the Quaker Meeting House on Upper Goat Lane, NR2 1EW.

No referral is needed, and one person can collect multiple meals if needed for their household.

The group operates on a first come, first served basis (max capacity is around 70 people).

They do ask for name and contact details for test and trace purposes, but can still provide meals if guests don’t have a phone number/fixed address.
