Description:
DO YOU WANT TO SUPPORT YOUR COMMUNITY IN the MANCROFT area of NORWICH?
You CAN make a difference!

GOOD NEIGHBOUR SCHEMES (Good Neighbour Scheme Development - part of Operation No Cold Shoulder.)

What is a good neighbour scheme?
A good neighbour scheme is a small but structured group of volunteers who offer to do simple tasks for those most in need in their community. The schemes are run by a small but structured group of volunteers who co-ordinate requests for help that come in from your local area. They support by helping with lifts to appointments, simple DIY tasks, gardening, dog walking, shopping or even just having a cuppa or a chat.

Why should I get involved?
A good neighbour scheme encourages volunteering, as sense of community spirit and a feeling of well being both for the people it supports and the volunteers who gain a sense of purpose.
