Description:
YMCA are offering free services that are designed to equip young people as peer mentors.
The YMCA, in partnership with Connects & Co, are offering free services that can help young people from 11-19 affected by bullying in the NR5 or NR3 areas of Norwich. Together we can offer support around bullying including group activities and one-one if needed.

We offer an 8-week peer mentoring course delivered in schools to train and educate young people to become Anti-Bullying Champions. After completing the training we aim to support them to set up an anti-building support system in their school. This is a safe space where students can come and discuss issues connected to bullying.

We also offer fortnightly Thursday support groups called ‘The Hive’ for ‘Peer Mentoring Training’ 5 pm- 6 pm and then 6 pm- 7 pm for support on bullying. These are held in Catton Grove Community Centre, Jewson Road and YMCA Norfolk site on Waldegrave Road, Bowthorpe
