The Stage is now open for hiring by groups of up to 15 persons, including the supervisor/tutor.
The Stage is a flexible and affordable community space for hire in the northern city centre of Norwich. Ours is a not-for-profit enterprise managed by a group of local volunteers for the benefit of the wider community.
People who use The Stage love The Stage. Great for group or club meetings, tutorials, hot-desking, life-long learning, help & advice surgeries, tutorials and many other activities. When you hire the Stage you get exclusive use of the entire venue for the period of your hire.
At The Stage you will find a suite of two adjoining meeting rooms: one room for reception with chairs, sofa and coffee tables, and a more formal meeting room with light tables and chairs that can be easily moved into the formation you require. There is a large open-plan kitchen area, which may also be used as an additional meeting room, with tea and coffee-making facilities, toaster, microwave and fridge. Crockery, cutlery and glassware including wine glasses are provided at no extra charge, as well as a stock of tea bags, sugar, herbal teas and coffee.
There is a large wheelchair-accessible w.c. with an emergency pull cord. Each room is wheel-chair accessible by either a permanent or portable ramp.
There is free access to WiFi via a password and the venue also has a Windows PC, an A4 ink-jet printer, a WiFi-enabled FHD 1080p digital projector, two whiteboard/flipchart easels, and a wall-hanging rail system for your detached flipcharts - all at no extra charge. The Stage also has a subscription to Zoom. Please ask if you wish to use this during your hire.
The Stage is available to hire seven days a week between 0900 and 2100, depending on availability. It is recommended you view before booking.
