Join us at Chapelfield Gardens in Norwich, UK for a day filled with vibrant African culture, music, food, dance, games, kids activities and more. Immerse yourself in the rich traditions and diverse heritage of Africa right in the heart of the city.
Afri-Fest East is excited to announce the world-renowned music group NSG, performing their hit tracks live such as Nella Rose, TONIGHT and Corleone. etc.
The daytime session will include Live performances of African music idioms and Congolese rumba/rock. Immerse yourself in the sound of djembe, drumming, talking drum, shekere, udu, agogo & a kora performance. You can expect dance performances from the African continent and workshops. Live band performances will lead to African storytelling.
Experience East African culture through the display of costumes, drumming and singing.
Throughout the day, a selection of hot and cold food representing different regions of the African continent will be on display.
Best of all, kids (Aged under 12) go Free. Please add Kids under 12 ticket at checkout.
For the rest of the evening, we will be partying to Afrobeat and Amanpiano songs played by the best DJ's (Sushi, Muwa, Tashera and Laz).
The festival is supported by Art Council England and Norfolk Community Foundation. It is also part of the programme of activities for 2025 UK/Kenya season of culture in Collaboration with the British Council and Africa Centre London.
