Having basic First Aid knowledge can be incredibly useful in emergencies, whether at home or at work. This course is aimed at those with little or no prior experience. The course is taught in small groups by a specialist tutor to ensure everyone gets the attention they need. If you're thinking about attending, you'll come away with essential First Aid skills and more confidence to handle emergencies.
Throughout the course we will cover topics around:
Alcohol drug overdose
Cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR)
Keeping yourself safe
What to do when waiting for emergence services
Aftercare
Dressing cuts and burns
Choking
Shock
