This creative workshop is an opportunity to find out more about brushes and paper for watercolour. From making the most of 1 brush to a range of brushes and paper for special effects.

We will consider characteristics and different qualities of brushes and paper; while creating samples for painting a characterful still life.

Taught by an experienced tutor, this course will cover a combination of practical drawing and painting exercises, demonstration of techniques, reference to artist examples, shared ideas in discussion and practical tips.

Watercolour experience is not essential and this course can be used to build-on current practice whatever level; or rekindle past skills.

This course is free if you earn less than £25,000 per year or receive a means tested benefit
