More about Amy's therapy offer
Amy's support and guidance is underpinned by her intention to ‘hold’ you through the process with compassion, warmth and tailored care. You will be supported to work at your pace, making sense of what you need, your experiences and what change would be meaningful to you.
You might wish to address challenges or areas where you want to improve your experience. These may involve Amy helping you think about and work with past or current life experiences, strong emotions and relationships to name a few. In our sessions Amy will work in an integrated way, drawing on recommended psychological approaches that are known to be effective.
Amy has over 16 years of clinical experience from working in mental health services in the NHS and the Local Authority. Her work has included working with children, families and adults. She has also have supervised and provided leadership across a range of professional groups. She has experience in working with trauma, anxiety, low mood and with challenges regulating emotions.
Amy's way of working is to start with getting to know you. Co-creating an understanding of where you feel you are and where they want to go. This means the support is tailored to what is really meaningful for you, offering guidance, skills and experience in the therapy space, that you can translate to your life.
More about Amy's Meditation and Sacred Circle Spaces
Amy offers regular spaces to practice and learn ways to be in contact with the present and ourselves. This includes meditation classes and The Present Hearts Circle, a space to meditate but also to share in community. These spaces can support an increased sense of belonging and confidence.
Additionally, Amy brings her own meditation practice and training to support individuals and groups in developing a deeper and more loving relationship with themselves.
Details of these spaces are on her website, social media and the Lumi events page.
