Norwich Community Venues Network

Network for groups and organisations running Community Venues in Norwich

  • Access: Membership by request

The Norwich City Council Enabling Team are working with Norwich groups and organisations to develop a network of community venues, these are Norwich neighbourhood buildings that have a room or rooms available for hire/use by the community/community groups.

In addition to the more typical community centre and church hall type venues this could include, for example, a school, health centre, pub or café, if there is a room available to the community that is separate from their usual business activity or service delivery.

To date network members have taken part in a workshop on Community Engagement which was delivered by Stir to Action and an event for members to come together was held recently at the Shoebox.

Relevant information is shared with the group members as it arises, for example on funding opportunities that may be suitable for their needs.

If your group or organisation manages a community venue and would like to join the network and receive information and invites please email us.
