Do you work with children or plan to?
This practical, face-to-face course is perfect for anyone responsible for the care of infants and young children - whether professionally or at home. You'll gain a recognised qualification and the confidence to respond effectively in emergencies.
You'll learn how to assess emergency situations, respond to unresponsive infants and children (including CPR and recovery position), and manage common injuries and illnesses such as choking, bleeding, burns and allergic reactions. You'll also explore how to recognise serious conditions and practise using child specific first aid equipment safely.
Training will be delivered in one full day and includes a lunch break. In addition, there will be approximately 6 hours of work to be completed before the course date, which will be sent to you around 10 days beforehand.
